Like the title suggests, sometimes things really don't add up. or sometimes the effort a person or people, even, put in don't show results. I used to think this applied to like work and projects and stuff, but i'm starting to learn that people themselves belong in the diagram under the "failed results section".

I mean, what the hell. 10 years ago i was ranting about friends that turned out to not really be friends but now 10 years later I find myself in a similar position? Don't get me wrong, the problem isn't about the same things. Back then it was probably something about sweets and who my BFF was. But now its about manners. What the hell do u call 2 people who sacrifice their time for someone and gets ignored by the same person? Stupid? Yeah, that's kinda how i kinda feel the more i think about it. Maybe even pathetic.

Actually, maybe it even applies to family sometimes. Like no amount of time u spend telling them something, sometimes it just doesn't get through. Its either they don't want to hear it, or they're in denial. I think, if they were to admit that they are in denial, it would not feel as bad on the speaker's part. But more often then not, they can't even admit they are in denial. And that screws everything up.

Thus the snowball effect.
