okay.
Wednesday was the first time i had a really CB customer.
haha.
i muttered C and B to my colleagues and they were stunned.
haha.
but they were also irritated with that table.
then they were telling me about the day before when they had an even more annoying customer who made them refill the ice water and IMMEDIATELY deplete the glass and ask for more.
they did the same thing with the bread.
yea, BB serves free bread. but it isn't meant to be like Cafe Cartel's kind of free flow bread.
we usually serve it if people order pasta, salad or soup.
or unless they ask for it as sth to munch on if their food is going to take some time, like during the lunch hour when its busy.
my gosh.
anyways.
in the past few days i've ran into alot of people whom i haven't seen in a long long time.
1. Andy - my cousin whom i've not seen since CNY; he was browsing in Borders and i went to say hello to him - and he ended up patronizing.
2. the "JAL" bag guy - his name is jun-something. lol. eileen's friend from ADM.
3. served my course-mate Gideon today.
4. Clement happened to come down to NY HV today
5. Jun Hao passed by HV lol.
6. Wei Kang from IJC bought a cake from NY today.
7. if i include sitting beside Zia Zek in the train w/o realising it and finding out he lives 2 streets away..
8. saw Charles on the escalator the other day
9. Met Junnie @AMK hub
10. met Yao Qing @ the bus stop on the way to work. turns out HE lives across the road. LOL
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now. on to interesting customers.
there was this old Caucasian man i served at BB the other day..
he took one look at me and asked me where i was studying.
(honestly when people ask me if i'm still in poly i'm secretly pleased cuz i somehow feel younger than i am. lol)
i said NTU. and he was like, "really? i used to teach there!" - what are the chances eh? this is Singapore.
today there were 3 middle-aged men - the ones that had salt and pepper hair alr...
they were hilarious.
they kept poking fun at each other the whole time.
and then they also asked me where i was studying.
and i answered them.
then they ask why didn't i go to NUS.
i told them my grades weren;t good enough for the F.A.S.S so i settled for NTU's lit.
oh well.
but they were really nice customers.
