Me? Nephrite. aka Jade. Stone, first and foremost. Being human comes later. Nah. I'm just kidding. Film fanatic. Lit Major. Loves books (DUH). Dragon baby. Don't watch much TV. I want to live like its the last moon rising and scream, just like no one's there. Here, I might lose all of my control. Don't blame me later if you don't wanna heed my warning. sometimes I say things that don't come out right but its all in the heat of the moment. It's not too late for you to turn back now. In these Invisible Cities I will build by myself, I hope you will enjoy yourself. The city will be made of green and black. There will be no bed of roses, but a crown of thorns. There will be wilted red roses and drooping stalks of violets. There will be rainbows, but with no pots of gold. There will be more rain than sun, more tears than smiles. What? Did you think this was some kind of fairytale? Baby, wake up and smell the flowers. There are none. Where did the flowers go? I don't know. And then you will see the world through my eyes.

Nephrite at 2:43:00 AM

im debating whether i should hold on to my Shakespeare Anthology or return it to the bookstore.
it cost me $80. out of the i dunno, $200 plus left in my a/c tt mum gave me for CNY clothes etc.
i didnt check my POSB acc because i SERIOUSLY DO NOT want to deal if the figures $2.35 stares back at me.
i bought less than half the books i have to get.
i'm selling off some of the books i dont wanna keep at 1/2 price to my junior and that'll get me what, $20?
i hope to god they don't screw up my pay check again.
plus there are ALOT of birthdays coming up.
Twenty-firsts are celebrations tt shouldnt be missed.
though i doubt many would invite me.
in the past 2 yrs i think my usual different groups of friends have seriously decreased.
either i keep turning them down to work, or get tied up in school committments, or fall sick.
of the three, the latter is seriously irritating.
really.

besides that.
i hate to say it.
but YES.
money is a HUGE issue for me.
and some people just DON'T get it.
or they FORGET.
yea its impt to treat sometimes.
but hey.
not everyone is as able.
i got quite annoyed last night trying to explain my point to a certain someone.
certain limits can be stretched. but how the freak do u stretch MONEY man?
its one of those things where its either you got it or you don't.
simple as that.
even if i did get a millionaire bf who insists on paying for all my expenses, money still can't be stretched.
i'll feel like some high class mistress or probably be indebted to the idiot until i die or sth.
but the bottom line is, that person STILL DOES NOT UNDERSTAND.
maybe i should just simply tell her, i CANT GO.
better.
i won't eat and just watch the rest eat.
maybe then she'll understand what she is asking of me.
i never liked borrowing money and i still don't.
as it is everytime i go out for "dinner" i have to prepare at least $30.
if i were to budget myself according to my dad's standard $200 a month, after i deduct the month's transport + phone bill, i'm left with about $130. after i deduct the MISC + Notes or sch stuff, its abt $100? and this is for FOOD for 20 days, three meals a day.
where do you get food , or rather two meals a day at FIVE BUCKS in TOTAL????

.....................ok. i'm stopping my ranting here.
or it'll go on forever.

oh m gee.
this is the first freaking week of school..
the drama elective i took today was interesting though.
now i dno which module i should drop.
or whether i should minor in creative writing instead of public admin.
although the latter sounds more useful.
